Requirements

Wealth Management is one of the fastest growing disciplines of the banking sector. The Chartered Wealth Manager (CWM)™ and Chartered Wealth Management Associate (CWMA) ™ focus on developing relationship management, sales, communication and core financial planning skills to equip Wealth Management Professionals with graduate education. The CWM™ and CWMA™ designations are the globally recognized standard for wealth managers and private bankers.

Requirements to sit for the exam of CWM:

  1. Complete a 30-hour education program at an Approved Training Provider (ATP) of CWM Institute before sitting for the examination
  2. A member of CWM Institute
  3. Graduate with minimum 3 years related experience, or
  4. Non-graduate with minimum 5 years related experience

*Graduate without sufficient experience, will be awarded Associate Chartered Wealth Manager, ACWM®

Requirements to sit for the exam of CWMA:

  1. Complete a 30-hour education program at an Approved Training Provider (ATP) of CWM Institute before sitting for the examination
  2. A member of CWM Institute
  3. Tertiary educated, or
  4. Holder of professional certification, or
  5. with minimum 2 years related experience
